Experience some of the best motorcycles, roads, food, landscapes and good times Italy has to offer. This journey will see us ride through the most incredible Tuscany at just the perfect time of year. Not only will the big masses of tourists have unclogged roads and cities, but the climate will finally have turned just gorgeous to ride.

The route

Starting from the RIDE 70s clubhouse in the Republic of San Marino, we will discover day by day the most alluring Tuscan roads, hills, vineyards and towns.

 

DAY 1 (08/10) 50 km: WELCOME TO SAN MARINO REPUBLIC

Pickup in Rimini – hotel check in – welcome drink at RIDE70s’ vintage garage - discover your chosen bike ready to go - trip briefing - panoramic warm up ride - overnight in San Marino.

DAY 2 (09/10) 190 KM: SAN MARINO TO FLORENCE

From the beautiful twisty roads through the Casentino Forests National Park all the way to the ‘pearl of the renaissance’, Florence.

DAY 3 (10/10) 160 km: FLORENCE TO SIENA

We will discover the homeland of the holy wine riding past the many vineyards of the beautiful Chianti region, lunching on one of the best Florentine T-bone steaks of Tuscany (optional), then continue through small suggestive villages to reach the towers of San Gimignano, aka ‘the Manhattan of the Middle Ages’.

DAY 4 (11/10) 170 km: SIENA TO MONTALCINO

All the way to the smooth wavy hills of “Crete Senesi”, one of the most impressive areas of Tuscany, called ‘lunar’ because of its incredibly picturesque bare hills rising toward the superb old borough of Montalcino (famous for its wine). Winery tour and wine tasting included.

DAY 5 (12/10) 180 km: MONTALCINO TO ORVIETO

Towards the Tuscan Maremma and the Saturnia Hot Springs, all the way to the ancient Etruscan “Città del tufo” area (city of tuff).

DAY 6 (13/10) 170 km: ORVIETO TO CORTONA

We will ride the magical and poetic “Val d’Orcia” where we will stop for a hot spring bath at Bagni San Filippo, then continuing through hills and villages all the way to another winemaking real hotspot, Montepulciano.

DAY 7 (14/10) 180 km: CORTONA TO SAN MARINO

For the last day we will visit the amazing Furlo gorge also called the Grand Canyon of Italy, the ancient culture capital of Italy, Urbino, and then onto a celebratory evening back at the RIDE 70s garage.

DAY 8 (15/10) DEPARTURE DAY

Breakfast - transfer to Rimini and return home.
